DexlyBrowser-to-code workflow

Pricing

Plans for a local-first browser workflow.

Dexly pricing is built around a narrow hosted layer: identity, billing, entitlements, and quota accounting where needed, while prompts, screenshots, DOM content, and workspace data stay out of Dexly’s backend.

Plans

Choose how much hosted quota headroom you need.

The browser extension stays the same product shape across plans. What changes is how much hosted entitlement headroom Dexly gives the local workflow.

Included

Dexly Free

Start with the full local-first workflow, including 15 days of unlimited access on a new account before the base hosted monthly limits begin.

  • 15-day unlimited prompts, captures, threads, and workspace access for new signed-in accounts
  • 20 prompts per UTC monthly billing period
  • 5 section captures per UTC monthly billing period
  • 10 selected-element image attachments per UTC monthly billing period
  • 3 visible saved threads and 1 selectable workspace

Flexible credits

Monthly Boost

A one-time 30-day credit pack for heavier usage without moving to a recurring subscription.

  • Each active boost adds +25 prompts and +5 section captures
  • Each active boost adds +10 selected-element images
  • Each active boost also adds +3 visible threads and +1 workspace
  • Multiple purchases stack as separate active grants and expire independently

Recurring access

Dexly Pro

For teams or individuals who want Dexly uncapped by the product’s hosted usage limits.

  • Prompts, section captures, selected-element images, visible threads, and workspaces are uncapped by Dexly
  • Managed through Stripe Checkout and Stripe Customer Portal
  • Bypasses hosted metered usage writes while Pro is effective
  • Best fit when Dexly is part of a daily local Codex workflow

Local-first boundary

What Dexly never stores in the hosted backend.

  • Prompts and effective prompts
  • Screenshots or selected-element images
  • Browser DOM content and page captures
  • Local workspace files, folder contents, or paths
  • Codex thread history, reasoning output, or transcript content

Hosted scope

What the backend actually does.

  • Supabase-backed sign-in for the extension flow
  • Plan entitlements and quota accounting
  • Stripe checkout, portal, refunds, and webhook updates
  • Session refresh and account access control
  • Support, privacy, and policy surfaces on one origin

Billing Notes

Pricing behavior that matters in practice.

New Dexly Free accounts start with 15 days of unlimited access. After that trial ends, Dexly Free and Monthly Boost use hosted quota accounting for prompts and metered capture actions, while Dexly Pro bypasses those metered usage writes.

Hosted billing stays narrow

Dexly’s hosted layer handles sign-in, entitlements, billing, and monthly usage accounting. It is not a remote prompt or transcript store.

Billing periods reset monthly in UTC

After the 15-day unlimited new-account trial, Free and non-Pro metered usage counters reset on the UTC monthly billing period tracked by the hosted backend.

Boost is additive, not a different workflow

Monthly Boost keeps the same extension behavior and expands the current limits for active 30-day grants once the unlimited new-account trial has ended.
